Megalith 8 is the eighth installment of Megalith, a publication of works by painter, printer, and Mega Press founder Panayiotis Terzis, published intermittently since 2011.
This edition features a sequence of semi-narrative illustrations drawing inspiration from alchemical illustration, food packaging design, the platonic ideal of a fruit cluster, botany, and the human face.
The viewer is guided through an energy map of current and future events, represented in tightly engineered drawings of illustrated figurative scenes, produced by a human hand manipulating drawing implements to make marks on paper and a manually controlled computer for generation of color layers.
Printed in an edition of 200 with up to eight layers of Risograph ink per spread and a laser printed acetate exterior cover.
